ExpressView Clinical LCD Display

The beauty of the design of the LCD Computer monitor is that the small size and weight, relative to a CRT monitor of equivalent size, allows many more options for mounting and positioning the display.  With a suitable mounting system it is feasible to mount the display directly in front of the patient for much more effective presentation of treatment plan options, intraoral images, digital radiography images, or patient education and communication tools like CAESY.  Our Multi-View Flat Panel Positioning system is ideal for this application.   Another important feature is the incorporation of speakers into the design of the ExpressView Clinical LCD Display.  The sound for the DVD selection is heard from the area of the display, and there is no need to provide for placement of separate speakers near the location of the Digital Dental Station PC.

Of course flat panel displays are expensive and until recently have been less than adequate for the display of clinical image information such as a digital radiograph.  Our ExpressView Clinical LCD Display based on advanced image display technology recently developed providing  a clinical grade image that meets or exceeds the image quality of a traditional high quality XGA monitor based on traditional CRT technology.  ExpressView is actually up to 4 times brighter than the typical business grade LCD sold today. Best of all the cost savings enjoyed by not having to mount a large TV in the treatment room can pay for the extra cost of a quality LCD Flat Panel.

The combination of the new technology available with the latest LCD displays, the small PC footprint available with the DDStation, and the new Multi-View Flat Panel positioning system have combined to the best functionality  and performance whether implemented in a single monitor solution or the more ideal dual clinician/patient monitor configuration.
